The Cape Town Stadium is located in Green Point near to the Cape Town City Center and to Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. South Africa has built the newly stadium for FIFA World Cup 2010. Previously it was known to as Green Point Stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 69,070 viewers. Green Point is also famous for tourism and shopping mall.
All systems of the 69,070-seater have been tested and the brand new stadium that Cape Town Stadium meets high standards of environmental protection is now ready to welcome the world to “the greatest show on earth".
The Stadium holds 115 entry turnstiles, 16 lifts, 500 toilets, 360 urinals. More than 2500 workers were employed during the construction period.
The Cape Town Stadium will play several games of First round matches starting between Uruguay VS France, One 16 round match, one Quarter Final Match and one Semi-Final Match.
